Every partner resource is reviewed against our inclusion criteria before it is listed. Resources that fail our safety, legality or editorial independence standards are not published.

Editorial independence
Risk ratings, evidence levels, safety topics, interaction warnings and all editorial content on SubsAtlas are produced independently of partner relationships.
Partners do not influence how substances are described, rated or compared. No partner can purchase a higher risk rating, a different evidence level or a more favorable safety position.
Partner resource cards are visually and structurally separated from editorial content. They do not appear inside risk cards, evidence sections, interaction warnings or safety information.

Dosing calculators or personalized dosing tools
Medical cure or healing claims
Undisclosed sponsored rankings inside editorial content
Affiliate links embedded inside risk cards or evidence ratings
Partner influence on risk ratings, evidence levels or safety information
High-risk education policy
High-risk education profiles — such as those for opioids, stimulants and depressants — do not include commercial product recommendations. Only general education resources, evidence literacy guides, professional education and recovery support directories may appear alongside high-risk profiles, and only with strong visual separation from safety content.

Geographic and legal review
Each partner resource includes a geoAllowed field specifying the jurisdictions where it is considered suitable for display. Resources with legal uncertainty are marked with status needs-review and are not activated until review is complete.
Test-kit resources are only listed where the sale and use of test kits is legal in the relevant jurisdiction. No test-kit resource includes purchase CTAs — education and awareness context only.
